Scientists, doctors and researchers from many different disciplines have been conducting tremendous amount of research and performing many trials on the practice of mindfulness meditation. They are confirming the benefits that practitioners have been advocating for centuries. Breakthroughs are being made practically every day.

It is now proven that mindfulness meditation helps people overcome many health-related issues such as stress, high blood pressure, heart disease, substance abuse, etc. It is now also proven that the practice helps people enhance their mental capabilities such as abstract thinking, memory, and creativity. It even helps people improve their emotional intelligence leading to the development of leadership and social skills.

It comes as no surprise that literally hundreds of TEDx talks from around the world have now been given detailing many different facets of this practice.
